Gerald Wasserman (1920-2011) was a Monterey/Carmel artist of Russian descent.  Wasserman studied at the Chicago Art Institute and was a long time member & exhibitor at the Carmel Art Association.  He exhibited, lived, & traveled extensively throughout Europe (found inspiration from Bonnard & Matisse).
